The initial model utilized a retractable carpenter or engineer’s tape, enhanced with cotter-pin pointers affixed using rubber bands and epoxy glue. Further refined in Australia through the Kinanthropometric Aquatic Sports Project, the Segmometer now represents the cutting edge in anthropometric measurement tools. The Rosscraft models dispense with the traditional housing, utilizing only a flexible tape with precision-machined base and slider indicators for ultimate accuracy. Cleaning Instructions: Clean the blade and case with an alcohol / sani wipe. Wipe the blade completely dry with a cloth or towel before retracting the blade to prevent rusting.
